Airdroidfy
Terms of use
By installing or using Airdroidfy you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, do not use the app — and uninstalling erases everything it stored.
1. What Airdroidfy is
A utility that connects two devices of yours — an Android and a Mac — over the local network, to transfer files, mirror the screen and, in a separate build, control the Android from the Mac. There is no account, no subscription and no hosted service: everything happens between your own devices.
2. Permitted use
The app is made for use on your own devices, or on devices you have explicit authorisation to access. You agree not to use it to:
- access, mirror or control a device without the consent of its owner;
- deceive anyone into giving that consent — including by posing as technical support, a bank or a public authority;
- transfer illegal content, or content you hold no rights to;
- circumvent protections of the operating system, of the app or of other applications.
About tech-support scams. No legitimate company will ask you to install a remote-control app to fix a problem with a bank account, a tax matter or a prize. Airdroidfy works only on the same local network — no one can control your device from afar through it. If someone you do not know asked you to install this, it is a scam: uninstall it and do not go on.
3. Your responsibilities
Pairing is the moment you decide whom to trust. Compare the short code on both screens before confirming: it is what guarantees the device on the other side is yours. Authorising an unknown device grants it access to what the app can do.
You are responsible for keeping copies of your files. The app transfers and verifies the integrity of what arrives, but it is not a backup system.
4. No warranty
Airdroidfy is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and of uninterrupted operation. You use it at your own risk.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for loss of data, lost profits or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the app.
Nothing in these terms removes rights granted to you by consumer legislation in your country that cannot be waived by contract.
6. Third-party software
The app uses open-source libraries, each under its own licence. The list is in the project's public repository.
7. Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and the previous version stays in the project's public history. Continuing to use the app after a change means agreeing to the new version.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, with the consumer's domicile as the competent forum.
